New Groups - September 2026

September saw the introduction of two groups at the Edenbridge u3a.

The new Mahjong Group got underway and has proven popular. It meets in small groups of three or four in members' houses. New members of all abilities are welcome.  The group plays by the British Mahjong Association rules.  Many members have their own Mahjong set, but this is not a prerequisite of joining.

After a long hiatus, the Walking - shorter walks group was resurrected, and had its inaugural walk in Staffhurst Woods. The walks are about three miles long, starting and finishing at the same place, which varies each month. The group explores different countryside walks at a fairly leisurely pace to enjoy the surroundings and chat to fellow walkers.

There are still spaces in both of these groups. If you are interested in joining, please contact the group leaders: Penny Garnham (Mahjong) or Maggie Buckingham (Walking - shorter walks).
