SYLVIES PLACE Warlingham, Tel.no.01883 622269, cost £10, on the 1st Wednesday of the month at 8.00 pm:

THE SUSSEX JAZZ KINGS are very good and will treat us to an action-packed, highly professional jazz experience. Expect fantastic trumpet solos, toe-tapping bass lines and even a banjo! They play every other Thursday at Reigate Manor Hotel, Reigate Hill, entrance fee £5.00, tel. no. 01737 240125.
