A sunny walk from Marsh Green

Our May walk was on a lovely sunny day with a gentle breeze making perfect walking conditions for the fifteen of us who joined the short walk. Led by Theresa, we started from Marsh Green walking across fields and footpaths past Christmas Place up to Shearnden Farm and back down the Roman Road before crossing the fields to Greybury Lane and then returning to Marsh Green. Christmas Place was built in 1907 and was the home of the playwright John Osborne.
Ten of us then went on to enjoy a very tasty lunch in The Old Eden pub where we had the beamed upstairs room to ourselves.
