London Studies Group One

About the Group:
London Studies Group One is one of the original Edenbridge U3A groups with its first visits starting in 2013. The group has approximately 50 members and there is one visit a month to our Capital City for most of the year. The only exceptions are August when there is usually an informal visit and December when we have a Christmas lunch.

Members take it in turn to arrange the visits and since 2013 we have been to a large number of the fascinating and varied places that London has to offer. However there are still plenty more “gems” out there to see.

It is a large friendly group but is currently full. However vacancies do crop up from time to time. Accordingly if you are interested in putting your name down on the reserve list please contact Colin Fairman.

When and where?
Visits normally take place on the third or fourth Friday of the month but is sometimes changed when a venue is only open certain days of the week. Numbers on visits rarely exceed 25 which usually gives us plenty of opportunities to chat with one another over a cup of coffee before reaching our destination.
