About the Groups:
Our Gardening Groups are thriving. We are split into two groups. It gives everyone a better option on days. We have lots of different ideas that we share with one another as we all know there is always something more to learn and try in a garden. We often exchange and share plants and cuttings. We also visit gardens, mainly National Garden Scheme, during Spring and Summer. When we decide to go out to visit gardens, we amalgamate the two groups.

More members are welcome. Please email one of the contacts below if you would like to join.

When and where?
We meet in each others' homes and also visit various gardens during the better weather. Group One meets on a Tuesday morning once a month. Group Two have a programme of monthly visits on the 1st Thursday of the month plus members will invite us to visit their gardens at any time, and NGS visits are selected when car sharing makes it very sociable. Plants and tools are shared, and afternoon tea or picnics are usually a feature of every meeting. There are currently 7 members as some have left through ill health, so room for more. We may share visits with Group 1. We are trying tool sharpening next. Do join us.

On the first Thursday of each month we plan to go to:
March - Nymans
April - Pashley Manor
May - Sissinghurst
June - chez Mary
July - Wisley
August - Merriments
September- Great Comp
October - Sheffield Park
Also possible additional visits to Leonardslee (16 May), Knepp rewilding (1st June) NGS gardens and visits to members’ gardens.

Cost?
Garden visits generally have a small charge for charity which often includes tea and cake. We share cars whenever possible.
