About the Group:
We offer something we all need at times - a chance to be away from the busy world and relax. We use quietness, occasional quiet music, verse, talk and some simple exercises to take away tension and replace with calm. Meetings include a short break of 15 minutes for tea / coffee or soft drink and a chance to chat.

When and where?
Normally held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays from 10.30 to 11.45 am. Edenbridge Leisure Centre

£2-50p per session for hire of room

Preparation for becoming Calmer

  1. Sit on a comfortable chair (not a low sofa).
  2. Make sure the small of your back is supported and that you sit in a balanced upright position.
  3. Close your eyes, relax your shoulders, your knees, your arms and around your eyes.
  4. Be aware of the weight of your physical body supported by the chair and the floor.
  5. Breathe comfortably and observe your steady breathing.

That should give you a good start to relaxing.
